Welcome to the New Year, it is absolutely amazing
to me that next month I will become 71 years of age!
During my preteen years I was told by my doctor of
that time that I would not survive through my twenties
due to diabetes. Every visit to him he bullied me by
using fear tactics. I grew to hate him and lived in
total fear of my future, nothing to look forward to
except dying gradually, loosing body limbs due to
the diabetes and many other horrible health issues.
Well here I am at soon to be 71 years of age looking
forward to this New Year with all my body limbs
exactly where they should be, on me, and suffering
very few effects from the diabetes and it is all by
God's grace, love and mercy! I wanted to locate
that doctor, make an appointment and go to show
him that I am still living and all in tact but found
he died last year.
I am looking forward to this year, walking close to
God my father, Jesus Christ His son and my redeemer
and functioning through the power of the Holy Spirit.
I grew up in a church going family and as a child took
classes to learn about God and what I learned always
stayed deep within me and I always attended church.
I always thought I was saved (redeemed) but in 1977
I attended a new church at which they had a call to
the alter for people wanting forgiveness of their sins
and I went to that alter and accepted Jesus Christ as
my Savior and the Lord of my life and I have walked
with Him and learned His truths ever since.
What are you looking forward to in this New Year?
I pray that you will feel God's presence in your life
and feel Him drawing you close to Him, hear His
truths and accept Him, Jesus Christ His son and the
Holy Spirit and walk in newness of life with them!
I will be placing Scrapbooked pages of my life here
on my blog so do come again to visit .
